College Park Skyhawks Aquire Jordan Bowden in Exchange for 2025 First Round Pick

COLLEGE PARK, Ga. – The College Park Skyhawks, the NBA G League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, have acquired guard Jordan Bowden in exchange for its own first round pick in the 2025 G League Draft, it was announced today.

Bowden, a 6’5 guard, has played nine games during the 2023-24 season with the Maine Celtics, and spent the three seasons prior in the Long Island Nets system from 2020-23.

In 73 games (30 starts) combined for the Long Island Nets and Maine Celtics over four seasons, Bowden has averaged 11.8 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 27.0 minutes per game.

In nine games during the regular season with Maine, Bowden has notched double-figures four times, including a 17-point outing against Raptors 905 on Jan. 31st when he knocked down five three-pointers.

In 32 games with Long Island during the 2022-23 season (28 starts), Bowden averaged career-highs of 17.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.0 steals in 32 games played (25 starts). Bowden poured-in a career-high 37 points against College Park during the Showcase Cup portion of the season.

The 27-year-old went undrafted in 2020 after a four-year career at Tennessee, where he made two NCAA Tournaments, including a Sweet Sixteen run during the 2018-19 season. Bowden appeared in 132 games (99 starts) with the Volunteers, owning career averages of 10.3 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 28.3 minutes.
